In a parody of the controversial meeting between Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Saturday Night Live featured Mike Myers as Elon Musk.
The sketch poked fun at Musk, with Myers—dressed in Musk’s signature black jeans, blazer, and graphic t-shirt—interrupting Trump (played by James Austin Johnson) and Zelensky (Mikey Day). Myers’ Musk joked about being the new president and mocked Musk’s erratic behavior, including mass firings.
The skit also satirized Musk’s role in government, his layoffs, and even included a gold-plated chainsaw, referencing Musk’s appearance at CPAC.
While the sketch amused many, including critics of Musk, the billionaire himself wasn’t pleased. Responding to a post about the parody on X, Musk wrote a simple five-word critique: “Humor fails when it lies.”
His comment sparked mixed reactions online, with some defending the sketch as accurate and hilarious, while others pointed out the irony of Musk’s previous calls to “legalize comedy.”
