Astronomer’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, is under the spotlight following a viral moment that hinted at an alleged affair with the company’s CEO, Andy Byron.
The controversy ignited after the two appeared on a Kiss Cam at a Coldplay concert in Boston on July 16, where they were caught in a close, affectionate moment. Realizing they were being broadcast on the venue’s jumbotron, they quickly separated—though the moment was enough to set social media ablaze.
The clip prompted internet investigators to dig deeper into their personal lives. Reports revealed that Andy Byron is currently married to Megan Carrigan Byron. Meanwhile, Kristin was known to be recently divorced—she and ex-husband Kenneth Thornby, with whom she shares at least one child, filed for divorce in 2018 and finalized it in 2022. As part of the settlement, Kenneth was ordered to pay a lump sum in child support.

According to new reports from the Daily Mail, Kristin is now married to Andrew Cabot, a fellow CEO who also serves as the COO of Privateer Rum, a family-run distillery he took over in 2009. Records suggest that Kristin and Andrew Cabot began sharing a residence in Rye, New Hampshire, in 2023, and purchased the property for $2.2 million this February. Earlier that year, Kristin—still legally married at the time—sold a property in Watertown, Massachusetts, for $1.8 million, according to court documents from January.
Before his marriage to Kristin, Andrew Cabot had been married twice—once in 1993 and again in 2014—and has two children from his first marriage to Maud Cabot.
