“Get Well Soon Daddy”: Victoria Beckham Reveals David Beckham’s Recent Hospitalization

Posted on June 28, 2025 By edm.

Former football star David Beckham has once again landed in the hospital due to complications with his right arm — an injury he first sustained over two decades ago.

Victoria Beckham, the renowned fashion designer and ex-Spice Girl, shared the news on Instagram early Friday morning, June 27, 2025.

Her first Instagram Story featured a photo of David lying in a hospital bed, dressed in a gown, with his right arm supported in a sling. Despite the situation, he was smiling, though his eyes looked tired. Victoria captioned the photo simply: “Get well soon daddy.” She didn’t share further specifics on what led to the hospitalization or which hospital he was in.

A second image focused on David’s left hand resting atop the sheets. His tattooed hand was curled into a fist, holding a bracelet with letter beads that spelled out “♥︎ Get well soon ♥︎,” and his wedding ring was faintly visible.

While Victoria offered no further explanation, it’s widely known that David has struggled with right arm problems ever since a match on May 22, 2003.

That day, during a friendly game against South Africa at Kings Park Stadium in Durban, David helped set up two goals in the first half. But shortly after halftime, he collided with defender Thabang Molefe and landed awkwardly on his right arm.

He immediately showed signs of pain and tried to continue playing but was forced to leave the pitch within just five minutes of the second half.

Following the match — which England won 2–1 — David was taken to a hospital, where he was diagnosed with a broken right wrist.

It’s uncertain whether this old injury directly caused his current issue. Victoria hasn’t clarified, and the couple is known for guarding their private lives closely. Nonetheless, the fact that his right arm is once again in a sling suggests a possible connection.

Fans will be wishing David a quick recovery, especially given that this has already been an eventful month for him. Just last week, he was honored with an official knighthood from King Charles III.

Victoria celebrated the moment in a heartfelt Instagram post, calling her husband — now officially Sir David Beckham — her “knight in shining armour,” adding that he has always been her hero, but now “it’s official.”

We’re hoping he’ll be back to full strength soon, enjoying his new title and spending time with his family.
