In 1983, Patricia Clarke welcomed Kevin Robert Clark into the world—a notably large baby weighing over 16 pounds. At the time, he was likely the biggest newborn in New Jersey and the largest ever delivered at Community Memorial Hospital. Despite his extraordinary size, Kevin was perfectly healthy and quickly gained fame, appearing on shows like Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America.
As Kevin grew, his height continued to attract attention. By junior high, he had reached 6’5”, and at age 12, he was already 5’7”. With a chuckle, he often joked about his height, saying he was “five feet twenty-one inches,” and whenever someone asked if he played basketball, he’d respond by asking about miniature golf instead.
Now 40 years old and standing at 6 feet 9 inches, Kevin is well accustomed to the curiosity his height sparks. “It feels like every day someone wants to know how tall I am,” he said. A former soldier, Kevin lives with his Great Dane and his 6-foot-tall wife. Despite his distinctive stride, he’s become an expert at navigating the world around him.
