When 3-year-old Tommy James waddled onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage wearing a Superman costume—cape, boots, and all—most of the crowd smiled, expecting a cute moment at best.

No one, not even the judges, had any idea what was about to happen.

Simon Cowell leaned forward, clearly amused. “And what’s your name?”
“Tommy!” the little one chirped proudly.
“And what will you be doing for us today?”
“I’m gonna sing like Frankie,” he said, striking a superhero pose. The judges exchanged looks—was he serious?

Then the music began.

🎶 “Fly Me to the Moon…” 🎶

The moment he opened his mouth, the entire auditorium froze. His tiny voice carried surprising pitch, clarity, and even a touch of vintage charm—something far beyond his years. The crowd went from chuckling to stunned silence, many mouthing “Wow” as the song continued.

Even Amanda Holden had her hand over her heart.
Simon? For once, speechless.

And then—it got better.

As the song reached its final lines, Tommy threw his arms out, turned toward the wings of the stage… and ran full speed, leaping into the arms of a hidden stagehand who lifted him up into the air like he was flying. The audience roared with laughter and applause.

“He just flew away like Superman,” Alesha Dixon gasped.

It wasn’t just a performance. It was a moment. A beautiful, funny, and heart-melting blend of innocence, talent, and imagination that left even Simon Cowell grinning from ear to ear.

The clip has since gone viral with over 85 million views in just days, sparking headlines and fan edits across social media with the hashtag #SuperTommy.

“Best audition I’ve ever seen,” one commenter wrote.
“He brought Frank Sinatra and Superman together. Legend,” said another.

Tommy didn’t just steal the show—he soared into the hearts of millions.
