Fred and Mary Get Married but Can’t Afford a Honeymoon

Fred and Mary had just tied the knot, but money was tight, and a honeymoon was out of the question. So, they decided to spend the night at Mom and Dad’s house instead.

The next morning, little Johnny started his day with breakfast. As he headed out the door for school, he asked his mom, “Are Fred and Mary up yet?”

“No,” she replied.

Johnny shrugged and went on his way.

Later, at lunch, he asked again, “Are Fred and Mary up yet?”

“No,” his mom replied again.

Johnny pressed on, “Do you know what I think?”

“Never mind what you think! Just eat and go back to school,” she said.

After school, Johnny returned home and immediately asked, “Are Fred and Mary up yet?”

“No,” she answered, growing a bit impatient.

Johnny persisted, “Do you know what I think?”

“Okay, fine. What do you think?” she finally said.

“Well,” Johnny said slowly, “last night Fred came into my room for some Vaseline, and I think I gave him my airplane glue…”

The room went silent for a moment as the parents realized exactly what had just happened.
