One quiet afternoon, Johnny wandered into the bathroom while his mom was soaking in a warm bath. He paused, studying her with the curious eyes only a child could have.

“Mom,” he asked with complete innocence, “why is the skin under your tummy a little fuzzy?”
She blinked in surprise but kept her voice gentle. “That’s just a patch of hair, sweetheart. Grown-ups have it.”

The very next day, Johnny slipped into the bathroom again, this time while his dad was getting out of the shower. Something new caught his attention.

“Dad,” he said, puzzled, “what’s that long thing hanging down?”
His father laughed softly and said, “It’s just part of a grown man’s body, son. You’ll understand later.”

Several days passed, and Johnny once again wandered in while his mom was bathing. His curiosity seemed endless.

“Mom,” he asked, tilting his head, “why do those round things on your chest droop a little?”
She smiled warmly. “They’re just part of my body too, honey. Everyone grows differently.”

Weeks later, Johnny walked into his parents’ room late at night, not realizing they wanted privacy. He froze, confused by what he saw, and blurted out:

“Mom, your chest lights are on again! And Dad looks like he’s chasing something!”

His parents stopped in sheer disbelief, torn between bursting out laughing and hiding under the blankets. They gently guided him back to bed, deciding they would save the complicated explanations for when he was much older.

As the years went by, that strange moment became one of those stories families tell with both laughter and a bit of embarrassment. Johnny eventually learned that some questions need time, and not every mystery must be solved the moment it appears.
