This breastfeeding mom was secretly filmed and publicly shamed—by another mom

Posted on October 18, 2025 By admin

Imagine heading to the beach with your family—soaking up the sunshine, listening to the waves, and taking a break under your umbrella while feeding your baby. It’s a peaceful, tender moment shared between mother and child. But then imagine waking up the next morning, scrolling through social media, and discovering that someone had secretly filmed you breastfeeding and publicly posted the video to shame you for simply feeding your baby.

That’s exactly what happened to Isabele Lomax, a mom who found herself at the center of online controversy for doing something completely natural. Despite the progress society claims to have made, mothers are still being criticized for breastfeeding in public—as if babies are supposed to eat only behind closed doors.

The most painful part? The person who shamed her wasn’t a stranger without kids, but another mother. The caption on the now-viral post read:

“I’m not shaming women who breastfeed. I’m shaming the women who do it in public with no respect for others and don’t cover up! I shouldn’t have to cover my son’s eyes or explain why your boobs are out. Have some respect!”

It’s a sentiment dripping with hypocrisy—and one that completely misses the point. Filming someone without their consent and sharing it online is a violation in itself, especially when that person is simply feeding their child.

Lomax, however, refused to respond with anger. Instead, she shared a powerful and thoughtful video on TikTok.

“Imagine waking up, getting on Facebook, and seeing a video of yourself at the beach,” she began. “This woman walked past me several times with her son. She had every chance to speak to me, but instead, she chose to post a video of me and my child for the world to see.”

Her calm but firm response struck a chord with parents everywhere. Lomax also challenged the absurd double standard in the shaming mother’s logic.

“What if someone told you that the only way you could eat at the beach was under a towel?” she asked.

She then addressed the other mom’s supposed concern for her four-year-old son.

“If you’re sexualizing a breast to a 4-year-old, that’s your issue, not mine,” Lomax pointed out.

Many parents chimed in to agree—kids that age usually take breastfeeding in stride. Lomax’s reminder was clear: children don’t see something inappropriate until adults teach them to.

In closing, she offered a message that every mother should hear:

“Next time you see a mom breastfeeding her child in public, covered or not, tell her she’s doing a great job.”

Her story serves as a powerful reminder about respect, boundaries, and the importance of supporting parents instead of judging them. And above all—stop filming people without their consent. It’s invasive, it’s wrong, and it says more about the person holding the camera than the one being filmed.
