At a busy truck stop, an older man sat alone at a table, slowly enjoying a slice of pie and a glass of milk. He had been on the road for hours, hauling a load in his semi, and this short stop was his chance to rest before continuing his trip.

The peaceful mood didn’t last.

The diner door swung open and three rough looking bikers walked in. Their leather jackets, heavy boots, and loud presence drew attention right away, and it was clear they were in the mood to stir up trouble.

As they passed the old man’s table, the first biker paused, grinned, and crushed his lit cigarette straight into the man’s pie before strolling off, laughing.

The second biker grabbed the man’s glass of milk, sloshed it around, spit into it, and set it back down with a smirk.

Not wanting to be left out, the third biker flipped the old man’s plate onto the floor, chuckled loudly, and joined the other two at the counter.

The elderly man didn’t react. He didn’t argue or raise his voice. He quietly took out his wallet, placed some money on the table, stood up without a word, and calmly walked out of the diner.

As the door shut behind him, the bikers burst into laughter, amused by what they thought was his weakness.

One of them waved over the waitress and sneered, “Not much of a man, was he?”

The waitress glanced out the window, smiled knowingly, and replied, “Not much of a truck driver either. He just backed his semi right over your three motorcycles.”
