The bond between a dog and her human knows no limits — just ask Honey, the lovable pup. Despite the physical barrier of a fence separating her from her 94-year-old neighbor, Edna, Honey’s affection always managed to shine through.
As Honey’s owner, Abigail Morrow, explained, Honey and Edna had formed the sweetest of routines. Every morning, the two would meet at the fence where Edna would shower Honey with treats and gentle hugs, and in return, Honey’s wagging tail was the perfect gesture of gratitude.
Sadly, these joyful mornings couldn’t last forever.
One day, to Honey’s confusion and sadness, Edna didn’t appear at their usual meeting spot. Edna had fallen ill and was nearing the end of her life. But Honey’s devotion never wavered.
“[Edna’s] family reached out to us when her health took a turn,” Morrow shared in a TikTok post. “They asked if we could bring Honey to say goodbye, so we did.”
Though their time together was brief, the bond between Honey and Edna was undeniable, bound by their shared affection.
“Honey was able to give Edna lots of sniffs and kisses on her hand, saying her final goodbye,” Morrow explained. “They truly had such a special connection.”
